 What does it take to get a real estate license in Minnesota?

To become a Minnesota real estate agent, you must complete 90 hours of Pre-Licensing coursework. This is broken out into three 30-hour courses (I, II, III). Course I must be completed before you register for the state and general licensing exams. Courses II and III must be completed before a brokerage submit your license application to the state. You have up to one year to apply for your license after successfully completing your exam. To remain active as a real estate agent in Minnesota you must complete 30 hours of continuing education credits within the two years of license renewal.

Pearson VUE offers Broker and Sales practice tests. The tests include questions on general real estate topics. The tests are developed using concepts found in the general portion of the actual exam and cover areas such as product knowledge, terms, and concepts. The practice tests coincide with the current, general test outline. State-specific practice tests are not available.
